Food Lifeline Impact

SAMOA (Seattle Area Mini Owners Association) won the coveted Food Lifeline award at the Western Washington All British Field Meet on July 23, 2022. British car clubs compete to see which club garners the most donations for Food Lifeline. Club members donate as well as any person that favors that car marque. Donations are made when participants register for the show online and also give on the day of the show – money and food donations are accepted. One pound of food equals $1.00 in this competition.

Mark Hurston of SAMOA accepted the award at the WW ABFM Awards Ceremony and it hangs prominently on display at Autosport in Ballard.

The top four finishers in the Club Competition were:
1 – SAMOA – 4000 meals
2 – Tyee Triumph Club – 1,400 meals
3 – MG Car Club Northwest Centre – 1,360 meals
4 – Cascade Austin Healey Club – 500 meals
